Suzy Scholl has more than 30 years of experience in translational research in gynecological cancers. After obtaining her medical degree at the Pitié Salpétrière Hospital in Paris, she pursued scientific training in the Breast Cancer Section at the NIH, Bethesda, USA and a specialisation in gynaecology-obstetrics (MRCOG) in Cambridge/London, to start her career in oncology at the Institut Curie in 1987.
RAIDS has been funded by the EU to the tune of €6 million, with the aim of developing individualised treatments based on genomic, proteomic and biological data on each tumour. This work has already made it possible to define biomarkers associated with a response or not to standard treatment. A second part of RAIDS, involving innovative treatments, is in the pipeline.
