After a career as a lecturer, Sandrine Costa was recruited in 2010 as a marketing researcher at INRAE (UMR MoISA). She worked on consumer behaviour, and was particularly interested in food consumption and equestrian leisure activities. Her work on food waste began in 2014 with work on waste in collective catering, and continued with research on behaviour in the home.
