Romain Vuillemot is a lecturer in computer science at École centrale de Lyon and a member of the LIRIS UMR 5205 laboratory since 2016. He previously completed a PhD in computer science at INSA Lyon in 2010, a post-doc at Inria Saclay in 2011 and a Research Fellowship at Harvard University in 2013. His research focuses on data visualization combined and applied with learning methods (AI) for the design of new interfaces for exploring, analyzing and collecting complex data. His work covers a wide range of application areas, from sports data analysis to economic and urban mobility data.
