Pierre-Alexis Geoffroy is a professor of medicine at Université Paris-Cité, head of the ChronoS Centre (Psychiatry, Chronobiology and Sleep) and deputy head of the 75G22 adult psychiatry sector at Paris Psychiatrie Neurosciences GHU.
He is also deputy head of the psychiatry and addictology department at Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) at Bichat and Beaujon hospitals, chairman of the Collège National des Renseignants de Médecine du Sommeil (CNESom) and scientific director of the MindLink e-health centre at Paris Psychiatrie Neurosciences GHU.
Lastly, he is a neuroscience researcher with the NeuroDiderot Inserm U1141 unit, Sleep CMD team, where his research focuses on biomarkers of sleep and circadian rhythms in mood disorders, with over 250 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
