Philippe Van Parijs

From 1991-20016, Philippe Van Parijs was the Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics at the University of Leuven. Currently, he is a visiting professor at the University of Leuven and a Robert Schuman Fellow at the European University Institute (Florence). Co-founder in 1986 and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Basic Income Earth Network, he is the author with Yannick Vanderborght of "Basic Income: A Radical Proposal for a Free Society and a Sane Economy" (Harvard University Press, 2017) and "Le Revenu de base inconditionnel" (La Découverte, 2019).
