After having managed the teaching and research department ‘Polymer and composite technology & mechanical engineering’ of IMT Lille Douai for almost 20 years (2000-2019), Patricia Krawczak has been in charge of the strategic programme ''Platforms'' of the Institut Mines-Télécom since 2019. Her research themes focus on advanced manufacturing processes, as well as the physics and mechanics of polymers and composites. She is (co-)author of 400+ publications, book chapters and communications. She is also a member of the Executive board of the French society of plastics engineers (SFIP), of the Board of directors and of the scientific and strategic orientation committee of the industrial technical centre, innovation plasturgie composites (IPC).
