Pascale Hennequin is a research director at CNRS and heads the "Magnetic Fusion Plasmas" team at the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP*) of École Polytechnique (IP Paris). A specialist in diagnostics and non-linear phenomena in plasmas, her research focuses on turbulence in magnetised plasmas, their fundamental aspects but also their applications, particularly for magnetic confinement in tokamaks. Pascale Hennequin has directed the Magnetic Confinement Fusion Research Federation, a national multi-disciplinary programme which aims to develop, support and coordinate research carried out by academic laboratories in support of the international ITER programme.
