Noé Basch is an engineer in Climatic and Energy Engineering and has a degree in Architecture from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Strasbourg. After working in an environmental design office and in an architectural firm, he founded lab ingénierie, an environmental and low-carbon engineering consultancy that assists architects, engineers, clients and builders in the design and construction of buildings that are energy-efficient, comfortable, and have a low impact in terms of resources and carbon. Life Cycle Assessment studies on the carbon/waste/resource impact of buildings led him to co-found mobius, which works on the reuse of construction materials, both in consultancy and in industry. His current research focuses on the links between resources, energy, economy and climate.
