Michele Starnini

Michele Starnini's research focuses on understanding emergent socio-economic phenomena, such as the epidemic spread of behaviours or ideas within a population; the dynamics of physical interactions in social gatherings; or cooperation and collaboration between individuals. He studies analytical and data-driven approaches, including statistical techniques, data mining and analysis, numerical simulations, mathematical, data-driven and agent-based modelling, and machine learning. It focuses on the interdisciplinary areas of complex systems, networks and computational social sciences.
