Mathieu Parenti

Professor at Paris School of Economics and Researcher at INRAE

Mathieu Parenti is a professor at Paris School of Economics and a researcher at INRAE (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement). He is also affiliated with the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and CESifo. He obtained his PhD from the Paris School of Economics (Université Paris 1) in 2012. He was an associate editor at the Economic Journal from 2017 to 2023. His research interests include international trade, international corporate taxation, and agricultural and environmental economics. He has published in leading journals such as Econometrica, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of International Economics. He is programme coordinator for taxation and the environment at the European Tax Observatory. His current research focuses on environmental externalities in an open economy.
