Martin Müller is Professor of Geography at the Institute of Geography and Sustainability, University of Lausanne. He is an expert on major sporting events such as the Olympic Games. His research focuses on the urban dimension of the ecological transition, and in particular on the theme of major sporting events (Olympic Games, Football World Cup, etc.). He has published several analyses to assess the sustainability of the Olympic Games, including : An evaluation of the sustainability of the Olympic Games.
