Marielle Saunois is a teacher-researcher at Université de Versailles Saint Quentin. She is a member of the Climate and Environmental Sciences Laboratory. She is co-coordinator of the Global Methane Budget within the Global Carbon Project (https://www.globalcarbonproject.org). Within this framework, she has worked on a global methane inventory for the period 2000-2020. Her work focuses on estimating the sources and sinks of greenhouse gases, particularly methane, using modelling tools and atmospheric observations.
