Lauriane Batté

A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Lauriane Batté defended her thesis in climate science in 2013. After ten years as a researcher and then research team leader at the Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques, a joint Météo-France and CNRS research unit, Lauriane joined Météo-France's Climatology and Climate Services Department in 2023. The department she heads is responsible for climate analysis and monitoring and seasonal forecasting.
