Laurent Pujo-Menjouet is a lecturer and researcher in mathematics applied to biology and medicine at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a researcher at the Institut Camille Jordan. His areas of research range from blood-related pathologies (leukaemia and dialysis, for example) to neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, Creutzfeldt Jakob), and include other topics such as radiobiology, bone formation, epidemiology (HIV), the dynamics of endangered languages, diets and love relationships. He is the author of the book Le jeu de l'amour sans le hasard : Mathématiques du couple (Éditions des Équateurs / Humensis, 2019).
