Katja Klumpp is involved in GHG measurements and climate change studies, with expertise in plant-soil-atmosphere C and N cycling, including processes and mechanisms related to C storage, GHG emissions and grassland forage production. Her research and expertise also includes turbulent flux measurements and modelling with the mechanistic grassland ecosystem model. She is responsible for a long-term permanent grassland system involved in a National Environmental Research Observatory (SOERE) and the Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) in the Massif Central.
