With a degree in air emissions management, Julien Vincent joined Citepa in 2002 after working in an analytical chemistry laboratory at CSULA, California (1999/2000). After studying activities related to solvent emissions, emissions from non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) and the costs of emission reduction techniques, Julien Vincent became deputy head of inventories in 2008, then head of the Unit in charge of energy balances, manufacturing industry and the production of Bilan Carbone® at the beginning of 2009 and from 2011 to 2020, head of the Energy and Industry Department. Since 2020, he has been in charge of the Mitigation and Adaptation Department in France and internationally. He participates in numerous capacity building projects for foreign administrations and is an expert for the UNFCCC.
