Julien Husson completed his PhD at the Ecole Normale Supérieur in Paris before becoming a postdoctoral researcher at the Amolf Institute in Amsterdam and then at the Institut Curie in Paris. He has been working at the Laboratoire d'hydrodynamique de l'X (LadHyX) since 2011 and studies the mechanical aspects that regulate cellular processes, in particular how white blood cells generate forces or change their mechanical properties to perform their function.
