Julien Grimaud completed a master’s degree in neuroscience from the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie University (Paris VI) in 2015. The same year, Julien Grimaud graduated from the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan. He then joined the graduate program "Molecules, Cells, Organisms" at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA, USA), where he defended his PhD thesis in 2020 under the supervision of Professor Venkatesh Murthy. Since 2021, Julien Grimaud has been working at the engineering school Sup'Biotech (Villejuif, France), first as a Teacher with Research Mission (2021-2022), then as an Assistant Professor of Life Sciences (2022-present). As a member of the Sup'Biotech/CEA CellTechs partnership team, Julien Grimaud coordinates the 5D Projects, a multidisciplinary research program for Sup'Biotech apprenticeship (“apprentissage”) students.
