Jean-Philippe Empana is a physician and INSERM Research Director at Paris Cardiovascular Research Center (PARCC), where he co-directs a 40-strong multidisciplinary cardiovascular epidemiology team. His research focuses on identifying new determinants and prevention strategies for cardiovascular pathologies in the general population. He also teaches epidemiology and global health in various Master 2 courses and as part of the Circle U European alliance. He has over 250 international scientific publications to his credit.
