Jean-Paul Vanderlinden is Professor of Ecological Economics and Environmental Studies at the University of Paris Saclay, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, and Visiting Professor of Science and Technology Studies, Polar Studies, at the University of Bergen. Coordinator of the ERC AdG PREFER project, his current research focuses on existential risk and its manifestations in local communities. He directs the interdisciplinary laboratory CEARC (Cultures, environments, arctic, representations, climate, UR4455 UVSQ).
