Jean Langlois-Berthelot was an advisor to a number of central government directors in operational positions before founding the company System Risk Assessment and Technologies in 2020, where he worked with a number of research laboratories under the supervision of the DGA. He was a researcher in the X-INRIA laboratory at the École Polytechnique and a consultant for an X-AID project (Agence Innovation Défense) on quantitative and qualitative Strategic Anticipation in France, the USA and China. This project led to his appointment as "Strategic Anticipation Envoy" to the Stanford University think-tank. Author of numerous academic and trade press articles, he was a guest editor for several magazines before becoming editor-in-chief of a specialist magazine within the French Army. A senior officer, he is currently a Division Chief in the French Army.
