Isabelle Czernichowski-Lauriol is a pioneer in French CO2 storage research. She has participated in numerous European research projects and was head of the “CO2 Capture and Storage” programme of the French National Research Agency (ANR). She is currently president emeritus of the CO2GeoNet association, coordinator of the French node of ECCSEL, and a member of the board of directors of the French CO2 Club, where she leads the Communication working group. She works at BRGM, where she began by preparing a doctorate in geosciences, after obtaining an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie de Nancy (ENSG).
