Gwenn Menvielle

Gwenn Menvielle is director of research at Inserm in a post-cancer research team based at Gustave Roussy. She is interested in social inequalities in the field of cancer, with an approach aimed at gaining a better understanding of people's trajectory from diagnosis to post-cancer and the impact of social situation at the various stages. Her work lies at the interface between observational and interventional studies. With a view to enabling people to benefit from advances in research, she coordinates the implementation of public health interventions aimed at reducing the impact of cancer on people's lives, whether in terms of quality of life, social life or employment.
