Gérard Creuzet has been President of the Île-de-France Photovoltaic Institute since 2021. A physicist by training, he began his career as a researcher at the CNRS before embarking on a career in industry, holding various R&D positions at Thomson-CSF (now Thales) and then Valeo, where he became the group's R&D director and then managing director of the Motors and Actuators branch. In 2001, he joined the EDF Group as Director of Strategy and Development, then Deputy Managing Director and finally Managing Director of Operations. Gérard Creuzet was General Delegate of the Écoles Centrales group from 2014 to 2022 and is a member of the Académie des Technologies.
