Geoffroy Peeters

Geoffroy Peeters is a professor of data science at Télécom Paris. His research focuses on the analysis, processing and generation of audio signals (particularly musical audio data) using artificial intelligence techniques. He was previously research director at IRCAM, where he led research in Music Information Retrieval. He is the author of more than 150 articles, several patents and co-author of the ISO MPEG-7-Audio international standard. He was a member and then president of the International Society of Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR) and is currently a member of the IEEE AASP Technical Committee.
