Colette Aguerre

Lecturer in Clinical Psychopathology at Université Tours

Colette Aguerre is Maître de conférences des Universités (MCU), habilitée à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in clinical psychopathology at University of Tours, and holds a doctorate in clinical psychopathology. She is a full member of the EE 1901 "Quality of Life and Psychological Health " research laboratory in Tours(QualiPsy), and is in charge of teaching the "Positive Psychology: Health, Well-being and Quality of Life" University Diploma (DU). Colette Aguerre is also vice-president of Association française et francophone de Psychologie Positive (AffPP), a clinical psychologist (cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based and body-mediated, integrative and positive approach) and psychotherapist (notably trained in the self-compassion practices taught in Compassion Focused Therapy, and the MBCL and MSC programs). She co-created the Atelier Bien-être et Coping envers la Douleur chronique (ABCD psycho-educational program), which in 2010 received the "Innovation " prize awarded by the Roche Foundation (in response to its 2010 call for projects "Initiatives for better living with chronic illness").
