Chiara Stringari, PhD, is a CNRS researcher at the Laboratory for Optics & Biosciences (LOB, Ecole Polytechnique). She received her PhD in Physics from the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS) and the University of Trento (2005-2008, Italy). She joined LOB in 2014 after a first Postdoc at the Biomedical Engineering Department of the University of California, Irvine (2009-2013, California, USA). Her main research interest lies in the development of innovative and advanced methods in Non Linear Optics (NLO) and Biophotonics to image intact biological tissues. In 2015, her group at the Laboratory for Optics and Biosciences has been developing advanced multimodal label-free microscopy methods based on non-linear optics.
