Chantal Pichon obtained her PhD at the University of Aix-Marseille and did her AFRC post-doctoral fellowship in Cambridge before being recruited as a lecturer at the University of Orléans. She carries out her research activities at the Centre for Molecular Biophysics and coordinates the Cell Biology, Therapeutic Targets and Innovative Therapies team. Her research at the interface of chemistry and biology focuses on the development of innovative therapies with a focus on the exploitation of messenger RNAs as vaccines and biomedicines. Chantal Pichon has published 163 original papers (HI 40) and filed 11 patents, 2 of which are under license.
