Dr. Armelle Rancillac is a neuroscience researcher at Inserm and Collège de France. A specialist in sleep, she trained as an electrophysiologist and mainly studies how interactions between neurons and astrocytes are involved in sleep regulation. Highly committed to scientific communication, she sits on the communications committee of the FENS (Federation of European Neuroscience Societies) and coordinates Brain Week at national level.
