After his doctoral thesis at the Pierre and Marie Curie University and the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Ulm, Antoine Le Solleuz was recruited as a lecturer in 2004 at the University of Lorraine at the Ecole de Géologie de Nancy (ENSG), for his expertise in sedimentary geology and basin analysis and on the characterisation of the natural resources of the Paris Basin, and more particularly those of the Lorraine subsoil. Since 2019, he is Director of Studies at the Ecole des Mines de Nancy. His research and teaching focus on the relationship between energy resources and geopolitical contexts, societal acceptance of mining developments in France, and hydrocarbon resources in the Middle East (Syria, Lebanon, Israel).
