Ahmad Al Bitar

Dr Ahmad Al Bitar is an expert in remote sensing, specialising in satellite applications for agriculture and resource management. He is responsible for developing the AgriCarbon-EO chain, an innovative solution for precision farming and sustainable agriculture. He is associated with the CNRS and the CESBIO laboratory. With over 20 years' experience, he has led international projects involving technologies. The author of more than 95 scientific publications and holder of several patents, he is ranked among the 20 most influential researchers in geosciences in France in 2023.
